    Night Feeding Collective

So much of caring for an infant is physically and emotionally rigorous, but these forms of care are often undervalued, invisible, or only evidenced by their ephemera. We can observe the jam-packed sleeve of diapers when we pull it from a diaper genie. We can observe how wet or dry the disassembled pump parts are next to the sink. But it can be difficult to quantify the cumulative hours of washing, of holding, of reconstructing the self to now be relationally attuned and responsive to this tiny person.

Based on my own experience, and on my interpretation of countless accounts of others' experiences care work and the tenderness, and the toll are worthy of acknowledgement, reverence, and community.

The night feeding collective is a virtual space that caregivers who labor in cover of darkness can be seen, witnessed, held, and responded to among a group of other caregivers while they nourish their babies, while they grapple with fears that worsen during the night, or between feeds when it's impossible to get back to sleep.

This is not therapy, however you must be registered to receive a link to participate.

Participation is free and all forms of feeding are welcome.

Night Feeding groups are currently held:

12-1 AM EST on Friday night/Saturday morning

3-5 AM EST on Monday morning

Groups are currently held in English.

Please call or send an email if you would like to register to join. You may also reach out if you would like to volunteer to host a group at different times or in additional languages.
